Work With Me

Just because she carries her load well, doesn’t mean it isn’t heavy.

So many of the mothers I talk to feel like they are drowning. Navigating the rough waters of motherhood while trying to keep yourself above the waves is HARD. We feel exhausted, depleted and overwhelmed. So I started asking myself why? What is it about mothers that make us push ourselves too far? Why do we have such a self-sacrificing nature?

The world makes us believe that it’s admirable to do it all, be it all and have it all, and keep our suffering silenced under the WEIGHT of it all.

But is that really true? If we give from empty hearts and empty bodies – are we really giving our best to those we love? And what exactly are we teaching them about loving themselves – by neglecting ourselves?

Mama, let me ask you something. Are you taking care of yourself? Do you have enough love left at the end of a long day to give any to yourself? Maybe the years are flying by, and you still struggle to feel good enough or to find the joy in this whole motherhood thing.

Maybe you want to give up sometimes.

Guess what? Me too. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with you, and you are not alone! So many of us have forgotten how to love ourselves, too. We have forgotten what it takes to show up for ourselves first, give abundantly to our spouses and our children, find our passions and live from a place of wellness. Instead we chase unrealistic versions of ourselves, putting way too much stress on our already stressful load and walk around constantly feeling inadequate and guilty for being unable to keep up.

It takes self-love to really look within. It takes self-care to mother yourself. It takes self-compassion to get up after you fall down. It takes self-worth to show up exactly as who you are. You are capable and deserving of all of that self stuff!

You just start with a little bit every single day to make sure your cup is filled, so that it can overflow onto others and into the rest of your life.

Let’s get started!

One on One Coaching for Moms

Coaching is really just another way of saying supporting or guiding. I want to support and guide you through your own tough waters so that you can emerge on the other side happier, more at peace and able to actually enjoy more of your life. Your tough waters will look different from everyone else’s and that’s exactly what one-on-one coaching is for.

Your first chat with me is always FREE. During this chat, we will talk casually about what you’re looking for and how I can help you meet your needs. Then we will come up with a coaching game plan that works for you. We can have coaching sessions in person if you’re local to the Upstate of South Carolina or virtually – I will work with the medium you prefer and do my best to connect with you when it is convenient for you!

Start here – schedule your FREE Connection Chat using the button below.

After you’ve had a Connection Chat – you can schedule any of your follow up Coaching Sessions using the button below.

Hey girl! I’m Mary Alice, a Certified Health & Wellness Coach. I have a heart for supporting and loving on mothers. I want every single woman I meet to know her own worth, and I feel called to help mothers navigate that process. I am a mother myself and I have been on my own journey to wellness for several years. I have had to re-learn, re-direct and re-imagine what my own life looks like as a mom and as a woman. I’ve shed years of self-neglect, self-hate and self-sacrifice and traded it in for a life full of everything I love, including myself.

I can help you navigate through the tough stuff that comes with being a mom and learn how to love yourself on the way up. I work with women who are trying to conceive, pregnant women, postpartum moms and women in any season of motherhood after that.

Curious about Coaching, but feeling unsure? Here are some of the things I work with moms on in Coaching Sessions:

  • Healthy lifestyle changes – food, fitness and mindset
  • General well-being improvements
